This is a 20 million dollar museum building with 30,000 SF of exhibit space, a 350 seat Omni Max Theater, a 200 seat Cafe, an auditorium and demonstration theater, administration offices and boardroom. The building features a unique spherical structure of reflective blue stainless steel exterior and concrete interior core. This is the space for the Omni Max dome theater. The sphere has a spiral ramp that is carved into the stainless steel, exposing the concrete core, which allows visitors to walk around, and up onto the top of the inner sphere observation and star gazing area.
