Residence Halls

Eric Kreher has design seven residence halls at the University of Tampa over the last ten years. Each building is unique and addresses the current needs of the student body. As an example, Jenkins hall was designed to reflect an international global theme throughout. The facility includes 540 beds as well as a large student meeting and social space on the top floor, a community kitchen and public lobby with various lounge seating areas on the ground floor. Inspiration quotes were selected and stenciled on each floor public lobby to reinforce the global theme. Custom artwork was developed and implemented by our team to complement the global theme. Morsani Hall uses a beach concept in its design. The artwork throughout, which consists of photographs of waves, water, sand and wildlife, reinforces this concept, as well.

Residents live in double and triple rooms and have access to the many dining venues located on the first floor. The first floor of Morsani Hall is devoted to a new upscale dining facility. The individual venues feature the latest concepts from Sodexho Corporation. These concepts have a retail oriented approach with design materials, finish and color.
